My 100Days In Office.

Dear Ndi UDI, In my first 100 days in office as the Chairman of Udi Local Government Council, I am proud to share the strides we have made together. These achievements reflect our collective commitment to progress and development, and I am grateful for the unwavering support of Ndi Udi. Infrastructural development has been at the forefront of my administration. The Udi Ultra-Modern Civic Centre is a flagship project that is steadily taking shape. The roofing process is underway, and materials are on site, ensuring we stay on course for timely completion. Additionally, the fencing and beautification of the Udi LGA Secretariat with socio-cultural artefacts, alongside the installation of a state-of-the-art gate, are progressing well. We have also commenced the renovation and upgrade of the Udi High Court to create a conducive environment for justice delivery..

Road maintenance has been prioritized to enhance mobility and connectivity within Udi. We have begun patching, bush clearing, pothole filling, and asphalt overlay on the road stretching from Eke Junction through Egede, Affa, to Akpakwume/Nze. This project ensures safer and smoother transportation while fostering economic growth. Furthermore, bush clearing along these roads aims to enhance security, ensuring that Ndi Udi and visitors enjoy a peaceful environment. In our commitment to attracting investments, I recently welcomed the China Harbour Construction Company, contractors on the 9th Mile-Opi-Makurdi road project, to Udi. I assured them of the maximum support of Ndi Udi, reinforcing our position as a hospitable and business-friendly community. I also engaged with the Livestock Productivity & Resilience Support (L-PRES) team, pledging support for initiatives that empower our farmers and boost agricultural productivity in line with Governor Peter Mbah's vision for Enugu State. Empowerment and education remain key pillars of my administration. We concluded an intensive training programme aimed at equipping our people with skills for self-reliance. Collaborating with esteemed facilitators, we explored strategies to expand such a programme and ensure widespread access to life-changing opportunities. By fostering a culture of self-sufficiency, we are building a stronger and more resilient Udi. I am elated to celebrate the triumph of the Udi Female Football Team in the Enugu Female Football Tournament, organized by the Office of the First Lady, Enugu State Government. The team's dedication, hard work, and resilience have brought pride to our community, making them worthy ambassadors of Ndi Udi. Their victory is a testament to our collective potential, and I extend my gratitude to His Excellency, Dr. Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah , for providing the platform to showcase our talents. As we continue to "Echo the Tomorrow is Here Mantra," I remain committed to making Udi a safe haven for investments, a hub of innovation, and a community where every resident thrives. Together, we will build a brighter, more prosperous future for Ndi Udi..

In celebration of my 100 days in office, we paid a visit to the homes for the motherless and the elderly, reaffirming my administration's commitment to compassion and inclusivity. During my visit, I had the privilege of interacting with the residents, listening to their stories, and sharing words of encouragement. We presented essential items such as food, clothing, and medical supplies, a gesture aimed at supporting their daily needs and showing that they were not forgotten. To the caregivers, I expressed my deep gratitude for their selfless dedication and assured them of my continued support in improving the welfare of the vulnerable. This visit reflects my unwavering resolve to prioritize care and inclusivity for all in Udi Local Government Area. ~HOA
